Duties & Taxes (US and UK)

For customers in the United States and the United Kingdom:

From February 18th, 2026, orders will be shipped without duties and import taxes prepaid.

This means the product price shown in our webshop is lower because customs charges are not included. Instead, duties and taxes are charged locally when the parcel arrives in your country. You will receive a customs invoice from the carrier before delivery or at pickup.

The total cost of your order remains approximately the same — it is simply divided differently, with customs handled directly in your country instead of prepaid by us.

As a small independent brand producing in small batches in Norway, prepaying all international duties has become increasingly demanding for us. We truly appreciate your understanding and your support of slow production and natural fibres <3 

For all other countries
Duties and import taxes are included in the price. You will not be charged additional customs fees upon delivery.

As soon as the parcel has been shipped you will receive a message from DHL with information about tracking and delivery.

European orders will usually be delivered within 2-3 days from the day you received your shipping confirmation. International orders will usually be delivered within 3-5 days from the day you received your shipping confirmation. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. If a delivery suffers a delay or an item happens to be out of stock, you will be informed by e-mail as quickly as possible.

The expected delivery and return processing time is slightly longer than normal around holidays. This is our busiest season with high demands. Thank you for your patience!

Any questions you might have concerned your delivery can be directed to our customer service.

If you do not collect the package and costs are incurred as a result, you are liable for any additional costs associated with the return shipment.

Return

We hope you love your order, but if something isn’t quite right you have 14 days from the day you receive it to send it back.

To reduce unnecessary shipments and packaging, we charge a small return fee of 100NOK.

Special return information (important)

Greenland & Faroe Islands
Due to limited carrier availability, customers in Greenland and the Faroe Islands must arrange the return shipment themselves.

In these cases, no return fee will be deducted.

United States (selected remote areas)
In rare cases where DHL is unable to collect or accept a return in certain remote areas of the United States, the return will be handled manually. In these situations, we will assist you with further instructions.

Germany
For returns from Germany where the total return value exceeds EUR 1,000, we reserve the right to split the return into multiple parcels for customs and duties processing purposes. In such cases, you will be charged an additional fee of 10 EUR for the extra handling and administrative work related to this.

Norway – How to return

Follow the steps below to register your return:

  3. After approval, you’ll be able to download your return label and you’ll also receive it by email.

  4. Attach the return label to the package you are returning and deliver the parcel to your nearest Posten/Bring delivery point.

United States – How to return

Follow the steps below to register your return (United States):

  1. Email our support team to request a return
    Send an email to support@mooknit.com with the subject line: Return.

  2. Include the following details in your email

  • Order number

  • Reason for return

  • The item(s) you wish to return

  1. We’ll reply with return instructions
    If your return meets our return criteria, we’ll confirm the return and send you the next steps.

  2. Ship the package back using the provided instructions
    Pack the item(s) securely and return the parcel at your closest DHL drop-off point. You can find your nearest location here: 👉 https://locator.dhl.com/.

Worldwide - How to return 

Follow the steps below to register your return:

Refunds

  • We issue a refund to your original payment method once your return is received and checked.

  • Please allow a few business days after we receive your parcel for processing and for your bank/card issuer to post the credit.

 

Condition of returned items

Items must be unused, unwashed, and with all original tags attached.

Exchanges

If you’d like an exchange, request it when you register your return. We cover the outbound shipping for the replacement once your return is approved.

We only accept returns for items purchased through our online store.
